All Blue Ridge Mountain Getaway Cabins rental cabins are heated and have air conditioning; they also have a completely equipped kitchen with all the modern conveniences of home, linens and towels. Each cabin has a standard 12 cup coffee maker, & filters. We provide an initial amount of toiletries (1 roll of bath tissue per each bathroom and bar of guest soap per bath & 1 roll of paper towel in kitchen) if you need more you will need to purchase these. There will be kitchen trash bags, spray cleaner, dishwasher detergent under kitchen sink.

Each of our Blue Ridge GA rental cabins has a washer and dryer, you will need to provide your own detergent and softener should you choose to use them. You will also need to bring personal items such as shampoo/conditioner, hair dryers, tooth brush etc.

Check In is at 4PM or After. Check Out is at 10AM. We now offer direct access to cabins for your stay at check in time or after. Once confirmed you will receive text with check-in info instructions with physical address to cabin, door codes, gate codes, etc if needed. Cell # for any assistance is on office phone # greeting.
Please respect the next scheduled guest by being prompt when departing in order for the housekeeping to come inside and start cleaning the cabin for the next guest to arrive. Even though each cabin has cleaning fee to be charged, there will be a few items we ask you to help with at your departure time such as loading your dirty dishes & starting dishwasher with detergent that is provided, taking out your trash, bags will provided, & stripping what linens you used & putting your dirty towels in or near laundry area, this is to help maintain the cabin until cleaning crew can get there for cleaning of the cabin. We thank you for your cooperation.

We have several grocery stores such as Ingles with Starbucks located inside, Food Lion, Wal-Mart & Save-A-Lot. There are several fast food restaurants as well as local favorite restaurants.

Each cabin offers an Information Book about the cabin with helpful information. Please take the time to read it upon your arrival. Please take the time to read all the paperwork given to you at time of check-in as well.

Wildlife & insects: Bear, Deer, Turkeys, Snakes, Ladybugs, Bees, Scorpions, Chiggers, Ticks, etc. may be encountered in the mountains. No Refund will be given for the presence of mountain creatures inside or outside.

Most cabins have a telephone land line but may have a long distance block on them. You will need a calling card or pre paid minute’s card to call long distance. All local calls & incoming calls are free. The phone # for the cabin will be provided in your check-in info. Cell Phone service is limited in different areas as well, our area has better service from Verizon & At&t. Most cabins are equipped with Satellite TV or WI FI TV's (unless stated on the cabins description page as other i.e Netflix etc) Not all offer the same channel packaging for Satellite TV but do have the four main networks, ABC, CBS, NBC & FOX. Pay Per View movies cannot be ordered. Red Box Rentals located at Dollar General Stores & CVS or other various locations.

Some cabins may have multiple TV viewing areas with additional Blu Ray/ DVD player if offered.

For cabins that offer additional sleeping options, be advised that these are sleeper sofas, futons, or sleeper chairs, and may not be suitable for all guest, consider your guest needs when reserving your cabin. No discounts or refunds will be made, Please do not ask.

Each cabin has a fireplace, either wood burning or gas log unit. Firewood is provided from Oct.1 - March 31st for outdoor fireplaces but not for fire pit. Firewood bundles can be found at most convenient stores or local grocery stores. For those who are not familiar with building a fire or you may pick up starter logs at most grocery & convenient stores., Please Do Not use anything flammable, this is very dangerous and can result in losing deposit. Propane to Gas Log fireplaces will be turned off after March 31 unless we are still experiencing cold weather for our area. Please Do Not rearrange the artificial logs in the gas log fireplace as this too can be dangerous and/or cause possible damage to the unit. The Gas Log fireplaces are not suitable to roast marshmallows, alter in any way to build a wood fire, evidence will result in loss of security deposit.

One can never predict the weather in the North Georgia Mountains. Generally the months of January & February are when we may experience inclement weather. Most of the roads to the cabins are paved with the exception of a few. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU CHECK LOCAL WEATHER FORECASTS FOR WINTER MONTHS ESPECIALLY DECEMBER, JANUARY, FEBRUARY & TO CALL US TO SEE WHAT THE WEATHER & ROAD CONDITIONS MAY BE LIKE. WE WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACCIDENTS YOU MAY INCUR. We will be happy to provide a towing company’s phone # (Action Towing or other) No refund will be made for inclement weather, we do offer the option to reschedule dates.

If the roads are paved to a particular cabin the description on that cabin page will note this, if not expect the road to be graveled/dirt. At any point & time if you have a choice of driving a SUV or low riding sports car we suggest you bring the SUV.

If you’re planning to ride a motorcycle please check with our staff first, some cabins are not accessible by way of motorcycle, no matter how well experienced the driver.

At this time the cabins are not equipped for charging electric cars.

If you plan to tow a trailer please check with us first, as this too may not be accessible. None of our cabins are able to accommodate RV Campers of any size.

(GPS) does not always find us, & especially the cabins. Please be sure to read through the text info you'll receive for cabin access, there may be additional turn by turn directions included along with physical address, this is for a reason, as GPS does not always take you onto the best roads to get to a cabin.

Double bookings are rare. In the event a reservation is double booked, the renter will be notified. We reserve the right to relocate guest into a different cabin within our rental company or of another company. Guest will have the option to accept the replacement cabin or receive a full refund.

The person booking the cabin must be at least 25 years old and be either the person or spouse of the person, whose name appears on the credit card. This person must be willing to take full responsibility, be with their guest the entire stay, and sign our Liability Release form that will be sent along with the Rental Statement and list all guest. Exceptions can me made for married couples or in special situations, please discuss this with our office staff in advance.

Parents please do not call to rent for your children. Please know that the person renting the cabin must be at least 25 years old to rent from us & will be asked for identification at time of check in.

Know that our rental cabins are privately owned secondary homes. The cabins are beautifully furnished and well kept. It is our goal to keep them this way. They are not party cabins, if you are a college party group we suggest you inquire with another company in the area other than us.

We have a Strict No Smoking Policy in all of our cabins. Please respect the next guest scheduled to arrive after your departure and do not smoke inside the cabin. You may smoke outside on the porches or decks. Please do not dispose of cigarettes in the yard area or in our woods. Smoking inside the cabin is an automatic forfeit of security deposit. Any additional charges for cleaning will be billed to the renter. Loose Trash Cannot be placed in outside trash cans or bins, any additional cleaning for this will be billed to renter.

In addition, we have a Strict No Pet Policy that applies to all cabins with the exception of cabins listed in the Pet Friendly section of the website. If it is found evident a pet occupied the cabin or property, it is an automatic forfeit of security deposit. Any additional cleaning expenses will be billed to the renter.

Please respect the cabin and take care of it. The cleaning fee does not mean we are allowing you to leave the cabin or hot tub in unsanitary condition. We reserve the right to charge for extra cleaning expenses.

Any additional damages to the cabin that exceed the $350 deposit will be billed to the renter.

Each cabin is individually owned & offers different amenities. If you are planning to stay during a holiday please understand not all the cabins will have the space you may be accustomed to, i.e, seating for dining, counter space, stoves & ovens, special cooking pots, items to of that nature. If you have any questions feel free to call our office. You will need to click on each cabin to see the inside of the cabin, view and description, more photos & check availability. Our cabins are located in Fannin, Gilmer & Union County, and are no further than 10-25 miles out of Blue Ridge for Fannin County cabins.

Why Are Your Rates Based on 4 Persons When The Cabin Sleeps More...
Outside of the summer months & other peak time the majority of our rental cabins are booked for 2-4 guests. If we based the rental fee on the highest number a cabin will sleep we would be unfairly overcharging every rental with less than the maximum number of guests. We feel that it is fair to all to base the rental rates on 4 guest & charge a per person rate for each additional guest.

BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAIN GETAWAY CABINS OF BLUE RIDGE HAS A STRICT POLICY: NO SMOKING IN ALL OF OUR CABINS AND NO PETS IN ANY CABIN NOT LISTED AS PET FRIENDLY,. ANY VIOLATION OF THIS POLICY WILL RESULT IN A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT AND ANY FURTHER DAMAGE OR CLEANING EXPENSES WILL BE BILLED TO THE RENTER, NO EXCEPTIONS.

All Cabins have a 2 night minimum stay with the following exceptions:

4 night minimum for 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years
3 night minimum for all other holidays
3 night minimum for July & October, November

Please note that Peak seasons & Holidays are subject to rate increases.
